Empowering the most vulnerable in our community with food, shelter, and support services.

Empowering Lives Through Compassionate Support

Caring for the Homeless in Nassau County

The mission of the Coalition for the Homeless of Nassau County is to reduce homelessness in Nassau County, Florida, coordinate with other organizations to help homeless persons receive the services they need, and create, fund, and maintain individual programs and ministries in furtherance of this objective.

We are a nonsectarian and nonpartisan registered non-profit 501(c) charitable organization, incorporated in the state of Florida. Our Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers receive no compensation for their services—100% of our income is from donations and is applied to supporting our mission areas. Operating from space generously provided by the Church of Christ, we run the Day Drop-in Center six days a week, providing a full, hot breakfast and a sack lunch to all who enter.
